Recreational and Technical Dive Charters

In the beautiful Thousand Islands

1000 Islands Diving

Recreational and Technical Divers: We’ve got everything you need. Wreck, drift, and shore diving—It’s all here in the 1000 Islands

The diverse diving options of the St. Lawrence River’s 1000 Islands area make it an ideal place for open water, trimix, and wreck penetration. Diving can be very easy and suitable for just-certified divers (shore dive from Bonnie Castle or the wreck of the Islander) or more challenging (the wreck of the Roy A. Jodrey at 250 feet deep) with everything in between. And unlike on the ocean you will never be blown out here.

The region has great visibility with an average of 30 feet and sometimes as much as 80 feet. Water temperature is in the 50s during May, 60s in June 70s in July and August and will remain in the 60s up to November.

What our customers say

“Andrew is an extremely knowledgeable and humble instructor with a knack for explaining material in a way that makes it easy to understand. I live in Cincinnati and have made the 12 hour drive three out of the last four years, and intend to continue making the annual pilgrimage in the future. Alexandria Bay is a beautiful little town with plenty to see and explore. I took the girlfriend on my last visit, and she had no problem entertaining herself the entire week. With on-site fills, two boats, and a healthy supply of wrecks waiting to be explored, I urge you to pay Blue Foot Diving a visit.”

Gregg Fairfield

“Andrew was fantastic! I have been diving the area from the Canadian side for many years but this was my first time approaching the wrecks State-side. Andrew gave us a top-notch experience doing a double Keystorm rec dive. His boat was nice and fast and comfy; that matters when you are diving wet in late October. He is very personable and witty too! I totally recommend Andrew to any river diver on the St. Lawrence whether tech or rec (our experience was strictly rec but his tech chops seem hard-core too).”
